Phase 2
The second phase of the Co-Design Concept project is dedicated to strengthening the collaborative design process, with a particular focus on prototyping and efficiently managing team roles and expectations. By engaging users actively as designers, the phase focuses more on group creativity and utilizes their personal perspectives and life experiences in the design process.
Context mapping and brainstorming sessions, with designers guiding and everyone participating freely, are worthwhile exercises. Respectful participation is made possible by ethical considerations throughout the process that involve informed consent and privacy. The generation, validation, and refinement of ideas through user feedback is the secret to this phase, which revolves around an iterative process that refines based on real-world feedback.
It aims to move from abstract concepts into concrete models, iterate them to check their functionalities and prototype them to conform to users' real needs. In the name of more participatory and successful design output, this ensures that developed solutions are not only innovative but also truly functional and meaningful based on the guiding principles of participatory design.
