What was the goal?

Phase 1

Note: The person with Long Covid, assigned to the group, is being referenced on this website as: "caseholder", "caseowner", "client", or under a falsified name - Anne.

In Phase 1, the Group aimed to get an idea of the challenges that the assigned caseholder was facing. When entering this phase, only a piece of information that the caseholder has Long Covid was given, but nothing more than that. Therefore, the Group aimed to do as much research as was feasible, together with interviews, to get an idea of what sort of product could the caseholder benefit from.

As a result of this Phase, a complex and caseholder-approved List of Requirements was created, which together with a thought-through Design Challenge, allowed the Group to enter idea generation, while keeping in mind the needs and wishes of the person that was assigned to the Group.
